I'm trying to decide between the 1st gen Pixel XL and the new Pixel 2 before Black Friday. I currently use a Droid Turbo.
As far as I can tell, the pros of the XL are its battery and its overall reputation as a good phone. Its cons are that it's a generation old, and thus has a somewhat lesser processor and won't get as many updates as a 2017 phone.
The pros of the Pixel 2 are that it's new and will have a garunteed 3 years of support. The cons are that there are still some grey areas with it being so new, albeit not as many as the 2XL.
Can someone help me? I've been driving myself crazy the last couple weeks flip flopping. I have played with a 2 a bit at Best Buy, but I've never seen an XL "in the wild."
