Hi,

Having a look at Samsung and Sony phone prices on Amazon.de and quite a few phones (new not used) are much cheaper than Amazon.co.uk.

Anyone bought a phone from Amazon.de or Germany? Am thinking it's worth a punt to save the 50 odd quid with an Amazon guarantee (sold by Amazon) but both Samsung and Sony say that they only support phones under warranty if the phone is bought in the UK, even if it's available here and is not a grey import.

So in other words, if I bought from anywhere in Europe, and even if it's an official phone that's also available in the UK, if I send it to Samsung /Sony UK under warranty, they might turn around and say you have to send it back to wherever you bought it from in Europe.

European firmware would be on the phone so I could always flash it with a UK firmware but I think the IMEI might give it away as to where it was bought from. Reckon it might be OK with Sony as they have an app on the phone that says when the warranty is valid until, not so sure about Samsung though?

Please help.
Thanks!

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
